For those in the DC area, I want to call your attention to the Freedom to Connect conference on March 31st and April 1st. I will be speaking there on a panel called "The State of the Internet." That's a pretty broad scope, huh? I'll most likely talk about our recent work on mobile access to digital resources and what that tells us about evolving usage patterns.

The conference is organized by David Isenberg and has a first-rate cast of speakers, including Clay Shirky, Tim Wu, and Susan Crawford. It is sure to be an interesting and fun event, so go to the Freedom to Connect web page and check it out.
