Report: Podcasting on the Up and Up
8/29/2008 |
Coverage
Chris Snyder, Wired Blog Network, Epicenter
'"Nineteen percent of internet users say they have downloaded a podcast, according to a new report from the Pew Internet and American Life Project.
This number, while still pretty low, considering that podcasting first picked up steam in 2004, is up from 12 percent back in August of 2006, and just 7 percent earlier that year.
And that’s not to say that this is a regular habit. Only 3 percent say they do it on a typical day."
Many news sites move articles into data bases after a period of time and then offer them for sale, in the process changing the URLs that link to them. Or they require registration. Thus, we provide a link to the front page of the news website and the information necessary to find the story on that site, rather than a direct link to the article.
