About Us

Basic information about our mission, staff, advisory board and privacy, reprint and citation policies.

The Pew Internet & American Life Project is an initiative of the Pew Research Center, which sets policy and research goals for the Pew Internet Project. The Advisory Board is an informal body that meets occasionally with the Pew Internet staff to share ideas about developments in technology, in the policy world, and in scholarly research. The Advisory Board is a non-voting body that does not set policy for the Pew Internet Project or determine the direction of the Pew Internet Project's research.
